High-school student Im Ju-gyeong (Moon Ga-young) rises to fame at school after she masters the art of make-up from YouTube. She turns into a goddess at school thanks to her makeup skills, but would rather die than reveal her bare face to anyone. It tells the love story of Ju-gyeong and the only boy that saw her without makeup, Lee Su-ho (Cha Eun-woo). Su-ho is an attractive and handsome boy who appears cold because of his dark past, but is actually very caring. They grow when they meet each other, sharing their secrets and finding love with each other, but can Su-ho help Ju-gyeong find her true beauty?

True Beauty (Korean: 여신강림; RR: Yeoshin-gangrim; lit. Goddess Advent) is a 2020 South Korean television series starring Moon Ga-young, Cha Eun-woo, Hwang In-yeop, and Park Yoo-na. Based on a webtoon of the same name, this series tells how a high-school girl having inferiority complex regarding her appearance and a high-school boy with a dark past grow when they meet each other. It premiered on tvN on December 9, 2020 and airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 pm (KST). It is available for streaming through Viu and Rakuten VIKI outside of South Korea.
